Thought I'd write a new thing... Just because I can.

It's official. Colin tells the most un-PC jokes ever. I look straight at him, tell him unequivocally, that he's going to hell... And then text it to around 40 people.

You know the bit in Alien when you see Weaver close up and then the Alien's shiny napper is right next to her? Well I reckon my liver looks pretty much the double of Weaver's face.

I think I want everyone to start calling me Harpo... As a nickname mind, not on my passport or anything. After meeting the real Vincent Valentine I don't think the world's ready for another Harpo Marx. I've found out this weekend that there's no official Dan Todd's in the UK... Ok I'm really Daniel, but I've pretty much been called Dan since 3rd year so I could legally change it. But I probably won't. Looks like I'm gonna remain one of the 74 Daniel Todd's for the time being.

Does anyone remember an old TV / Gameshowy type weird thing called "Scavengers"? John Leslie (lol) was the host. There was a massive sci-fi type ship that was on it's last legs and about to blow up. Two teams (Reds and yellows) would have to play various games to collect different bits of salvage, then escape before the ship blows up.

It was the nuts! There was this hot android chick who you could tell Leslie was well into... And she kinda helped add a wee Soap Opera type story to it. Anyway there's was one episode where Leslie cut his arm and some alien used the blood to clone him!! So there was an evil Leslie running about the ship... To be honest, I don't know whether there was a good Leslie...

In other news, got a shed-load (that's underused isn't it?) of shows coming up at the end of the year! Exciting stuff! Right I'm off to watch a movie I think! Cheerio :)

alright latery (not as good as baldy but i enjoyed your reasoning anyway. i'm at the airport. got checked in (eventually, took a lot of to and fro-ing, the french are useless), and got through security only to find that there are no toilets, no shops, no vendies, nothing. and i have 2 hours to kill.

was feeling slightly despondent, until i decided to take out my laptop and check if the airport had wifi. connected to a network and saw that an hour cost 12euros. "12euros" says i, "not on your nelly. i shall take my business elsewhere"

next network... orange. i connect and look on the website to check the charges... "hazzah!" says i, "orange france mobile users are given one hour's free surfing!". and this is the story of how i came to be where i am now. at the airport. on t'internet. for free.

i'm all packed up and ready to go!! my luggage weighs over 30 kilos, aaaarggghh... no idea how i'm gunna get it on the train without toppling over on the stairs (which, rather inconveniently for those who are small and have lots of luggage, are very steep and narrow)

anyway, i can't wait either. tis funny, i was sending rhona a text the other day asking if she was lost in the space/time continuum and thinking to myself that it's a bitch of a word to spell. sausage, i mean.

i will be sure to text you when i am back on the mothership, if i had a bell (i'd ring it in the morning, i'd ring it in the evening, all over this laaaaaand...) i would surely give it to you my dear, were you in need of one. but i do not. and i suspect you are not. so that's that settled. no bell, just a text.

i will do my best to have a safe trip, i.e. not topple over on those god awful train steps. if only the french were a helpful nation, they might give me a hand. but they're wankers. booo.

thanks for my text message, after some googling i discovered it was by coldplay. which made me realise that i know nothing about new music any more. i think when i get back i'll have to spend several days in fopp just looking at new stuff. and of course, purchasing a few compact discs :D
